About Me

I am Derval Kennedy. I am a Certified Independent Non-Executive Director, Chartered Accountant and Tax Advisor. I have more than 20 years of corporate governance, board, risk management, financial control, accounting, audit, taxation, advisory and business transformation experience in an international environment.

I am Big 4 trained having started my career with KPMG, with whom I enjoyed working for 8 years. After time spent in industry and financial services, I took a career break to focus on my family life and the education of my children.

Returning to my roots in practice, I set up Profit Expertise to serve accounting practices and clients in Ireland and enable them to profit from the wide-ranging expertise and experience that I have gained along the way.
